Uber och Lyft kan tvingas att använda elbilar i Los Angeles

Los Angeles överväger att tvinga bolag som Uber och Lyft att använda elbilar. Staden vill minska sina utsläpp och skulle i sådana fall bli den första staden att införa ett sådant krav, rapporterar Financial Times.

Borgmästaren Eric Garcetti säger till FT att elbilarna är ett alternativ i kampen om att bli koldioxidneutralt till 2050.

– Vi har makten att reglera detta, säger han till tidningen.
