Buffett ”besviken” på planer på att stycka ketchupjätte

Livsmedelsjätten Kraft Heinz rasade 7 procent på Wall Street efter att investeringsgurun Warren Buffett uttryckt sitt missnöje med planerna på att dela upp konglomeratet. Till CNBC säger han kort och gott att han är ”besviken”.

Buffett och hans Berkshire Hathaway äger 27,5 procent i Kraft Heinz och har inte rört sitt innehav sedan sammanslagningen av bjässarna Kraft och Heinz 2015. Buffett själv var en av arkitekterna bakom fusionen, som nu ska göras ogjord i den tänkta fissionen.

In addition to Kraft and Heinz, over 20 other brands are part of the company's profile, including Boca Burger, Gevalia, Grey Poupon, Oscar Mayer, Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Primal Kitchen, and Wattie's, eight of which have total individual sales of over $1 billion. Kraft Heinz ranked 114th in the 2018 Fortune 500 list of the largest United States corporations based on 2017 total revenue. On 2 September 2025, Kraft Heinz announced that they were splitting into two companies, ten years after the merger was complete.
