Kinas oljejättar satsar 150 miljarder på förnybar energi

Kinas tre statliga oljejättar kommer att satsa minst totalt 100 miljarder yuan, motsvarande drygt 150 miljarder kronor, på förnybar energi fram till och med 2025, rapporterar Nikkei Asia. Bakgrunden är Pekings mål om nollnettoutsläpp år 2060.

Enligt raffinaderijätten Sinopecs ordförande Ma Yongsheng vill bolaget bli ”Kinas toppspelare inom in vätgas”.

Kina vill ha 50 000 vätgasfordon på vägarna till 2025 och Sinopec uppger att man kommer att bygga om oljeraffinaderier till fabriker för att producera kemikalier.

China National Offshore Oil (CNOOC) kommer att satsa på vindkraft, medan Petrochina redan förra året plöjde ner 7,6 miljarder yuan, motsvarande 11,5 miljarder kronor, i solenergi, skriver tidningen.

China National Offshore Oil Corporation, or CNOOC Group (Chinese: 中国海洋石油总公司 Pinyin: Zhōngguó Háiyáng Shíyóu Zǒnggōngsī), is one of the largest national oil companies in China, and the third-largest national oil company in China, after CNPC (parent of PetroChina) and China Petrochemical Corporation (parent of Sinopec). The CNOOC Group focuses on the exploitation, exploration and development of crude oil and natural gas in offshore China, along with its subsidiary COOEC. The company is owned by the government of the People's Republic of China, and the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC) assumes shareholder rights and obligations on the government's behalf. One subsidiary, CNOOC Limited, is listed on the Hong Kong exchange; the other, China Oilfield Services, is listed on the Hong Kong and New York exchanges. In the 2020 Forbes Global 2000, CNOOC was ranked as the 126th largest public company in the world.

PetroChina Company Limited (Chinese: 中国石油天然气股份有限公司) is a Chinese oil and gas company and is the listed arm of state-owned China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), headquartered in Dongcheng District, Beijing. The company is currently Asia's largest oil and gas producer and was China's second biggest oil producer in 2006. Traded in Hong Kong and New York, the mainland enterprise announced its plans to issue stock in Shanghai in November 2007, and subsequently entered the constituent of SSE 50 Index. In the 2020 Forbes Global 2000, PetroChina was ranked as the 32nd-largest public company in the world.
