Stefan Persson tappade 18 miljarder kronor under 2018

För H&M:s ordförande Stefan Persson blev börsutvecklingen 2018 en mardröm – 18 miljarder kronor gick upp i rök, skriver SvD Näringsliv.

Persson var inte den enda förloraren på börsen. SvD:s granskning visar att sju av tio finansfamiljer fick ”se innehållet i kassakistorna krympa”.

Cristina Stenbeck och Fredrik Lundberg tillhör också förlorarna.

Familjen Wallenberg gick däremot mot strömmen. Investmentbolaget Investor äger en stor post aktier i Ericsson, vars aktie hade en stark utveckling 2018.

In March 2013, Forbes reported Persson's net worth as $28 billion making him the richest of Sweden's 12 billionaires and the 17th richest person in the world; he has since dropped to number 80. Persson is the chairman and main shareholder in fashion company H&M, which was founded by his father Erling Persson in 1947. Persson took over the company from his father in 1982 and served as its manager until 1998. Persson also owns a substantial stake in the Swedish technology company Hexagon AB. Through his privately held real estate company Ramsbury Invest, Persson owns a large number of properties in London, Paris and Stockholm. According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Persson had a net worth of US $31.9 billion in 2014, making him the 17th richest person in the world at the time.

Fredrik Lundberg (born 5 August 1951) is a Swedish businessman. His father was Lars Erik Lundberg (1920-2001) founder of L E Lundbergföretagen. Fredrik Lundberg is president and CEO of L E Lundbergföretagen, of which he inherited a controlling stake from his father. He is the ninth wealthiest person in Sweden, according to Forbes magazine. Fredrik Lundberg enjoys hunting and was a one-time junior world champion of curling. He is also a supporter of IFK Norrköping and has financially supported their endeavours to return to Allsvenskan. In June 2011 he received the award Chair of the Year 2011 Årets Ordförande for his work in Cardo AB from Styreinformasjon as in Oslo.
