Kasinomagnaten Sheldon Adelson förbereder ett uttåg ur Las Vegas, uppger källor med insyn för Bloomberg.
Adelsons bolag Las Vegas Sands uppges ha anlitat rådgivare för att få in bud på sina fastigheter i Las Vegas, som uppskattas vara värda omkring 6 miljarder dollar.
En företrädare för bolaget bekräftar att det pågår diskussioner i ”ett väldigt tidigt skede”.
Om en försäljning skulle gå igenom innebär det att Adelson helt lämnar den amerikanska kasinobranschen medan han har kvar verksamhet i Macao och Singapore.

Sheldon Gary Adelson (; born August 4, 1933) is an American businessman, investor, philanthropist and political donor. He is the founder, chairman and chief executive officer of Las Vegas Sands Corporation, which owns the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and the parent company of Venetian Macao Limited, which operates The Venetian Resort Hotel Casino and the Sands Expo and Convention Center. He owns the Israeli daily newspaper Israel Hayom, the Israeli weekly newspaper Makor Rishon, and the American daily newspaper the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Adelson, a philanthropist and donor to a variety of causes, created the Adelson Foundation in 2007 at the behest of his wife, Miriam. He made the largest single donation to any U.S. presidential inauguration when he gave the Trump inaugural committee US$5 million.As of September 2020, Adelson was listed by Forbes as having a fortune of US$33.5billion, making him the 28th-richest person in the world and 17th in Forbes 400. He is a major contributor to Republican Party candidates.
