Kinesisk kedja betalar 180 miljoner dollar efter vinstlögn
Den kinesiska kafékedjan Luckin Coffee ska betala 180 miljoner dollar i böter som del i en uppgörelse med finansmyndigheten Securities and Exchange Commission i USA.
SEC anklagar Luckin Coffee för att ha fört investerare bakom ljuset genom att ha uppge fel omsättning, omkostnader och förlust i syfte att verka mer lönsamt och växa snabbare, skriver AP.
SEC skriver i ett uttalande att det bland annat handlar om 300 miljoner dollar i produktförsäljning som Luckin Coffée påstått falskeligen.
Luckin är en direkt konkurrent till Starbucks.
